Do You Need to Heal Your Leaky Psyche?

Healing at the level of the psyche is not something I have seen much writing about in relation to autoimmune disease. I’m so excited to announce that my new book If The Buddha Had an Autoimmune Disease is now available as an audiobook via Audible, iTunes and Amazon. My intention in writing this book was to help people deepen their understanding of their own agency in healing themselves at the level of the psyche (the heart/mind) to be free of the extra suffering that comes with disease.

Do You Need to Heal Your Leaky Psyche?

Excerpt from the written book

Our understanding of autoimmune disease has changed dramatically over the past few years. We have learned a lot about diet overhaul and repairing the gut, lung and brain barrier systems, but what about relieving the mental and emotional suffering that comes along with chronic body symptoms and diagnoses? What about restoring our inner psychic integrity and a sense of healing and happiness in our lives on a daily basis? What about repairing our “leaky psyche”? Is this really possible? Luckily, we have many ways to nourish and repair our inner integrity thanks to the wisdom of the Buddha.
